Teacup is a theatre and education enterprise and is a very unique entity because we aim to use performing arts and its variations for community development, harmony and integration.

Given that we are in a world city like Hong Kong which is a melting pot of cultures, on one hand, we have a very affluent and high achieving ex-pat community (with ethnic minorities and non-ethnic minorities), on the other hand, we have a relatively large chunk of an ethnic minority community that is struggling to keep up with the progress.

We plan to use Teacup as a creative bridge that is able to link the two in a manner that is mutually beneficial and helpful. We do not set policies or preach but by active dramatic involvement, we encourage the community to be positive and to find a voice within.
